Ceremony Music: Depending
on where your service is will determine what music you will be suitable and what
will be allowed. If you are not getting married in a church the chances are that
you will have no restrictions on your choice. If
you are getting married in a church do they have restrictions on the appropriate
music for the church?
Can
you use recorded music? This is not an unreasonable request today.
Do you
have to use church musicians/ organist? If so what is the cost for church musicians?
May soloists be
used or are there some songs (such as Hymms) which must be sung by only the community?
If you use professional
musicians, can they use the existing sound equipment or must they bring their
own equipment? Will
they allow a friend to sing or perform at your ceremony? Do
you prefer a soloist or small group? What
instruments do you want for your music? Will
your ceremony musicans fit into you reception plans, or will they perhaps be able
to entertain the guests whilst they wait for the wedding party to come back from
photos.
Can
your musican preform your favorite songs?
