Hire:

This section really relates to hire of things for your reception. Marques, tables etc. You can virtually hire everything you need for a reception if you are planning to have it in your own backyard or on location.

Many couples are looking to hire a marque to have their wedding reception in, they can have it set up where ever there permitted, have the ceremony alongside and party in the great outdoors, you can have a seperate marque for the DJ/Band and the hire companies will usually be able to provide you with a package that includes tables, chairs, cutlery and plates etc.

Here are some questions to ask your hire company:

Is set up and pull down included in the price? (pull down may be a sunday!)

Is the marque suitable for a change in the weather? eg: Open in summer but able to close easily if it rains.

I have 100 guests, what size marque do I need?

Can I have a seperate marque for a childrens area?

Does the price include insurance on the marque, plates, glassware etc

What types of decorations do you have available?

In winter what is the cost of heating the marque?

Can they also supply chairs for the ceremony?

Is lighting the marque included? What about lighting in the general area?

Can I hire everything except the marque? ( if you hire a hall )

Do you have self catering hire? eg: spits?
