Hens & Bucks Nights:Your
hens night just like the bucks night is your last celebration before tying the
knot. It is the BIG party where you get to let your hair down TOTALLY. It
is also the chief bridesmaids responsibllity to organise it, so let her know your
expectations and than let her go do it. DON"T
have the party the night before the wedding, make it at least 2 weeks beforehand
so those "late night baggy eyes" have time to recover.
Start
to budget for the night early, you don't want to be thinking about how much you
are spending.
Check
with the "key" friends that the date of the night suits them, give everyone
heaps of notice.
Phone
them all the week before to make sure everyone is still coming.
Plan
to have a meeting place to start the night and than move onto somewhere were there
is entertainment.
Try
not to have to many changes of location as you will end up loosing friends along
the way.
Look
around for party tours or event nights, let them know your booking a hens night
and you may be able to organise a discount.
Don't
plan anything for the next day
Before
you go out, drink heaps of water, and do whatever your anti hangover trick is.
Mine is to have bottled water in the fridge for the morning, a bottle beside the
bed (because you know you'll want it but not the strenght to go get it) take 2
panadol® and leave the packet beside the bed, and I drink a bottle of gatorade®
this gives you the salts that you'll be loosing.
If you get along well with your neighbours politely ask them not to mow the lawn
the next day.
