Hair: The
big question is will you be going to your hair stylist or will they be coming
to you? If the answer is they will
be coming to you than its a good idea to invite them over well before the day
so they can familiarise themselves on how to get to your location as well as what
they will be working in when they get there. Be
sure to give precise directions to them, they are one of the first parts of your
day and you don't want to be running late from the start.
They
will need ample light to work with, a dark cramped bathroom will not allow them
to work freely to give you the style you are after.
The
stylist will only allocate time to do the people you have originally booked for,
an unexpected aunty or guest will not be allocated for.
YOU
are the most important person on the day, you should be ready first for the photographer.
Everybody else comes later.
If you
going to a salon, you should try to do these things: Book
well in advance, at least 12 weeks ahead if possible.
Discuss
with the hairdresses some of your ideas.
Have
a trial session at least 1 month before try to bring a picture of your dress with
you.
Time
your travel from salon to where you are getting ready.
Ensure
there will be enough stylists to handle your party, remember this may include
your flowergirls, mother, sisters and aunties.
Try
to have your nails done the day before.
